Celebrating our freedom

Grays Chapel commemerated the events of 9/11/01 at 8:15 am on September 11th.  The ceremony not only paid honor to all the victims of the September 11th attacks but to our own hometown hero, Sandy Waugh Bradshaw.  Students placed flags around the memorial garden named after Bradshaw.  Select students in 2nd throug 5th grades read essays entitled "What Freedom Means to Me".  Students sang "This Land is Your Land" and "My Country Tis of Thee".  Family members of Bradshaw were recognized as well as first responders and service members.
