I graduated from Juniata College in May of 2015 with a degree in Education and an Instructional I Certificate in PreK-4th Grade Education for the state of Pennsylvania. From there, I received a Standard I Professional Certificate in Elementary Education (K-6) as well as my AIG Licensure for the state of North Carolina.

Throughout the course of my college career, I was given the opportunity to complete several practical experiences in classrooms ranging from kindergarten through 4th grade. I also spent a summer working as an assistant teacher in a preschool in Pennsylvania. From there, I moved to North Carolina and am now teaching 5th grade at Grays Chapel Elementary School for a third year.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Upon graduating high school, I decided to attend Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. During my four years at Juniata College, I had the opportunity to participate in a service trip to Nicaragua as well as to spend three weeks in The Gambia, Africa. Those two trips sparked my interest in traveling all around the world, and I love to share my experiences with my students! Once I graduated college, I applied for teaching positions in North Carolina, and I now live in Greensboro, NC and teach here at Grays Chapel Elementary.
