Welcome to First Grade!

 I am so excited to have you in my class this year!  First Grade is the BEST grade of all!  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!  You will learn so much and have so much fun!

My name is Jamie Bare.  My dream came true 25 years ago when I started teaching.  As a very young child when asked, “What did I want to be when I grew up?”, I would always give the answer “a teacher” and still to this day cannot think of anything more I would want to do.

I am married to a wonderful man and we have a five-year old English Mastiff “Ellie” who is the absolute greatest!  Since, there are no children in our home, it gives me the excuse to love your child that much more!

My husband and I enjoy spending time with Ellie.  We enjoy going to Flea Markets and Antiquing.  Our favorite vacation spot is the beach.  Neither one of us can seem to get enough of it!  The beach is definitely our “happy place”.

I look forward to extending our family this year and adding you and your family to ours!
